About CustomDA

CustomDA was built at the intersection of design thinking, hands-on craftsmanship, and disciplined project execution.

My path into construction didn’t begin with a toolbox alone—it began with design. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University, where I learned to see space, proportion, material, and intent before learning how to build. That foundation still guides every project today: understanding why something should exist before deciding how it should be made.

Early in my career, I worked with the Wright Brothers Aeroplane Company, helping build historically accurate aircraft replicas and interactive exhibits. That experience shaped how I approach work to this day—balancing creativity with precision, honoring legacy while meeting modern standards, and coordinating teams around a shared vision. From there, my career evolved through custom fabrication, stair and architectural installations, and complex residential projects where execution matters just as much as aesthetics.

Over the years, I’ve led projects from concept through completion—managing scope, sequencing, materials, trades, and expectations—while still maintaining a deep respect for craft. I’ve worked inside historic homes and modern spaces alike, translating ideas into built solutions that feel intentional, durable, and well considered.

CustomDA exists to bring that full perspective to your project.

Not just installation. Not just design.
But design-to-reality craftsmanship, guided by clear communication and thoughtful planning.

Whether it’s a custom interior feature, a renovation detail, or a complex installation, my role is to listen carefully, define the path forward, and deliver work that feels both functional and refined. The goal is simple: spaces that are built with purpose—and executed with care.

If your project values clarity, collaboration, and craftsmanship, you’re in the right place.
